Aude recapitulates a very successful year
Recruiting new clients in custom publishing, the market debut of nationwide magazines, significant growth in employment - Aude Publishing House recapitulates the year 2008 and looks into the future with optimism.
Throughout the year Aude was working on strengthening its position on the custom publishing market. In 2008 the circulation of various custom publishing titles connected with different services published by Aude amounted to 3.85 million issues. At this time, the Publishing House also managed to recruit new clients such as Fortis Bank Polska or Polpharma.
Debut of the integration magazine published for Fortis Bank and Dominet Bank turned out to be a great success.
Within only a few months of publishing its first issue, the Act as One magazine won the award for the best company magazine at the 4th National Forum of Company Magazine Editors, TUBA 2008.
In 2008 Aude created the new layout for the Le Cigaro magazine published for British American Tobacco. It refers to opinion-forming, lifestyle magazines and it has gained more modern and dynamic character.
For Aude Custom Publishing House 2008 ended with a positive note as it won the competition for designing the layout and publishing company magazines for Polpharma: Panaceum, Remedium and Target. The project is being carried out and the first issues of these magazines have already been published.
Since 2008 Aude Custom Publishing House has been making nationwide press titles and it reaches a big group of readers. In January 2008 Aude started publishing its own magazine, Nowa Gospodyni, which is addressed to women who love the countryside. This bimonthly is devoted to different aspects connected with women's life in the country: it highlights the value of tradition but it also demonstrates how changed and modernised the Polish countryside becomes. The strength of the magazine is the fact that it is co-created together with its readers whom the editorial board is in regular contact with, also by meeting them at various events.
Starting from the fourth quarter of 2008, magazines published by Aude can also be found in big cities - in the best press salons and Naturhouse points that promote healthy nutrition and effective loss of weight. The first Polish issue of the Peso Perfecto magazine was published in October in 50,000 copies, along with the French edition. In Spain, where the magazine had its debut a few years ago, it is published every two months in 100,000 copies. Peso Perfecto is the first deluxe magazine addressed to people who want to stay fit and healthy in Poland. The magazine is characterised by a large number of lifestyle elements that are presented in a very attractive way, with refined photographs and graphics on the highest level. - We are very proud that we publish the Polish version of this international magazine whose formula has been successful in Spain, Portugal or Italy. This is a unique custom publishing title in Aude's portfolio. - stresses Marcin Rutkowski, Vice President at Aude.
Dynamic development resulted in the growth of the team and the range of services. We created Interactive Department that deals with developing the strategy of brand presence on the Internet, supporting sales and promoting products and services. We provide end-to-end solutions in the area of interactive marketing such as websites, online advertising, intranet and extranet, dedicated applications, e-commerce, mailing, newsletter, e-zines and search engine marketing.
After the successful 2008, Aude looks into the future with optimism. In the context of economic crisis it is difficult to foresee the course of events on the media market but there are no doubts that companies will be cutting advertising and marketing costs and streamlining their budgets. In such a situation many of them may start using custom publishing tools, which are less expensive than advertisements in traditional media. - In hard times internal and marketing communication will require tools that are efficient and we feel very strong in this area. On the horizon we can see a few interesting projects that we already discuss with our potential clients. - says Marcin Rutkowski.
