Nowa Gospodyni and Podlasie Catholic Radio
Aude Publishing House has signed a cooperation agreement with Podlasie Catholic Radio. Within this agreement, apart from mutual promotion, both parties obliged themselves to closely cooperate on a journalistic level. Aude Publishing House and Podlasie Catholic Radio want to touch upon subjects that are interesting for their readers and listeners. Starting from 30 April there will be programmes devoted to informatisation of the countryside introduced in the April issue of the Nowa Gospodyni broadcast on the radio and the magazine will publish a regular column run by the editorial staff of Podlasie Catholic Radio. The latest issue of the magazine will be available on 1 April. On its pages readers will find, among others, the results of the writing competition “My place on earth” and the invitation to a new, photo competition “My world captured with a camera”, an article about unconventional pensioners and a comprehensive article about diabetes. Easter celebrations in Dobranowice, prepared specially for the magazine by women from the Farmers’ Wives’ Association, as well as Easter recipes have a special place in this issue. Nowa Gospodyni is the only nationwide magazine addressed to women who live in the countryside and small towns. The promotion of the magazine is managed by Sylwia Pawlina, Public Relations Director at Aude. Nowa Gospodyni has been published since March 2008 in 10,000 copies. It is Aude’s own title, distributed by post offices and newsletter agencies in small towns and villages. www.nowagospodyni.pl

Podlasie Catholic Radio is the biggest broadcasting station in the central part of eastern Poland. During 17 years of our operations we have managed to create our own, original style of being in touch with our listeners, which makes us not only the biggest but also the most popular local medium in the former bialskopodlaskie and siedleckie province. Every day the central studio in Siedlce broadcasts more than 17 hours of information and music addressed mainly to people who are 30-60 years old. In our programmes we usually talk about the issues that are important for those living in the region. Apart from information we also prepare interviews and feature programmes. We also play pop music. Our radio is received in the area between Białystok, Warsaw and Lublin, which means nearly one million people. On average, 350,000 of them are our listeners (Radio Track data provided by SMG/KRC Poland).
In order to meet our listeners’ expectations, apart from the central studio in Siedlce, we have a network of field studios in every county in the central part of eastern Poland.
Being a Catholic radio we understand that our mission is to promote traditional values in the contemporary world. Can we manage this task? It seems that we can. Despite the fact that we don’t operate within the structure of Radio Plus or Radio Maryja, we are one of the most popular catholic radio stations in the country. Why? Just listen to us! We broadcast at the 101,7 FM andz 106,0 FM frequencies. We also recommend the most popular Internet portal in central-eastern Poland – radiopodlasie.pl
