Plagiarism

– appropriating the authorship of someone else’s work or its fragment (according to the Copyright and Related Rights Law, the work means “every form of creative activities that has an individual character and is presented in any given form, regardless of its value, purpose and way of expression"), also defined as copying, intellectual theft or literal quotation of someone else’s thoughts without providing the source. In the light of the Copyright and Related Rights Law, such action is a crime resulting in criminal responsibility or civil liability.
